Your school’s display case is a great place to really show your pride and spirit. Using contributions from students is the greatest way to fill up your display shelf. Artwork, pictures, sports memorabilia, awards, and trophies are a list of your unlimited options. You can show how smart and talented the students on campus are, by putting a wide range of events, groups, and activities on display. Your display shelf can be used to exhibit excellence in teamwork or the talent of individual efforts.

Photography can be a good way to show students all the variety of activities that are going on around campus. Send out students with cameras to games, dances, and even club meetings to take photos. Go to events like music rehearsals and band practice for something fascinating. You will be able to really show the diverse and wide range of talent and activities your school has on campus. Taking pictures of students who are volunteering out in the community is another great idea. This can even get fellow students inspired.

Win or lose, the display case is a good area to show your pride in your school’s sports team. Use jersey display cases, trophies, and team photos of the Football, baseball, or Soccer Team. You can have the entire team sign the title game ball for display purposes. Don’t forget other sports like swimming, water polo, and golf. Use jersey display cases to display the surf team’s rash guards.

Think about showing artwork done by classes. You may not even know it, but the country’s next major artists could be right in your own school. Use sculptures, paintings, drawings, and photography pieces. You will show art and culture to people that might not have enjoyed them before. If the piece has won awards, you can include the trophy or medal along with the display. Someday that work of art may be worth a bunch of money.

However you choose to use your display shelf, it is important you include all students and groups to show just how diverse and talented your student body is. Use school colors, flag cases, and mascot memorabilia to really exhibit your pride. Your display case will be a focal point that students and teachers can meet around. It can be the pride of your school grounds. From the winning baseball team to the new drama production, you have a wonderful opportunity to show off your school’s diversity and talent.
